Races Overview
Blox Fruits features 7 playable races, each with four upgrade versions (V1 through V4). Your starting race is randomly assigned among Human, Rabbit, Shark, and Angel. Ghoul, Cyborg, and Draco must be unlocked through quests.
Each race offers unique abilities that dramatically impact your combat style, mobility, and survivability. V4 (Race Awakening) is the endgame upgrade system, unlocking powerful transformations and gear choices.

V2 — The Alchemist (Second Sea)

V4 — Temple of Time (Third Sea)
Prerequisites:
- Race V3 unlocked
- Defeat rip_indra (Raid Boss)
- Defeat Dough King (get Mirror Fractal)
- Find Blue Gear on Mirage Island (nighttime only — use race ability while staring at the moon)
Awakening Process:
- Go to the Temple of Time and pull the lever
- Gather 2 other players with different races
- Activate all three race abilities together during a Full Moon
- Complete the race trial (defeat waves of enemies)
- Place your gear in the Ancient Clock
Cost: ~26,750 Fragments per full race awakening. Total for all 6 base races: 160,500 Fragments.

Human — The Damage Dealer

Best for: Aggressive players who want maximum damage output. Pairs well with combo-heavy fruits like Dough and Spirit.
Rabbit (Mink) — The Speed Demon

Best for: Hit-and-run tactics, kiting, escaping unfavorable fights. Weakest V4 in terms of raw combat power — relies on outmaneuvering opponents.
Shark — The Tank

Best for: PvP tanking. Nearly unkillable in water. S-Tier V4 for beginners learning PvP and veterans who want survivability. Lacks land mobility.
Angel — The Healer

Best for: Sky camping and healing. Excellent with Portal fruit. King’s Rule aura can stun-lock enemies in combos.
Ghoul — The All-Rounder

Best for: Aggressive, sustained combat. Pairs perfectly with Sanguine Art. Arguably the best overall V4 for the cooldown reduction + life leech combination.
Cyborg — The Instinct Breaker

Draco — The Dragon (Newest)

Best for: Late-game powerhouse. Team support + massive DPS. Can 3-shot high-bounty players. S-Tier alongside Shark.

Pro Tips
- Race version progress is saved per race — switching away and back preserves your V2/V3/V4
- Ghoul and Draco can be re-obtained for free from Experimic/Dragon Wizard
- Cyborg costs 2,500 Fragments to switch back via the secret NPC
- V4 meter fills by dealing/taking damage from players and Sea Beasts (not regular NPCs)
- Cursed Dual Katana puzzle room and Chocolate Land are the best spots for fast V4 training
- Full V4 awakening (all upgrades) requires ~90 minutes of transformation time
