The Halibut Harpoon Is a Reward Too — and It’s Not Free

The Halibut Harpoon is the headline of the August 15 update, and it earns a spot in any rewards guide even though it’s neither a code nor a menu claim. It’s a rod-and-harpoon-gun hybrid with its own passive minigame, and its stats are genuinely serious: 132% lure speed, 288% luck, 0.1 control, 56% resilience, and infinite max kg.

You don’t redeem it — you earn it. The route runs through Dr. Monty in the Outer Deep, near Beacon 1P-2 behind the Cartographer NPC (coordinates 461, -2002, -13150.2). He hands you three riddles, then a four-quest pufferfish grind that has you catching and returning dozens of pufferfish variants. The Black Market restock cycles limited rods on a Sunday schedule. If a rod you want is showing “sold out” and you assumed it was gone forever, it probably isn’t — check back Sunday when the stock refreshes.

Double Luck Weekend is a temporary fishing-luck boost. The whole point of a luck boost is stacking it: run it alongside Lucky Boost items, a high-luck rod, and a spot that already has good spawns. If you were going to grind anyway, now is the window — don’t wait until next week when the multiplier is gone and you’re fishing the same water for worse odds.

How to Redeem a Fisch Code (and Why Yours Isn’t Working)
