Last updated: May 10, 2026. This tier list reflects the current Monster Legends meta after the Spring 2026 balance patch. Rankings are based on competitive PvP data, Team War performance, and Adventure Map utility.
How We Rank Monsters
Each monster is evaluated across four categories and given an overall tier:
- PvP Multiplayer — Performance in the ranked ladder against human opponents
- Team Wars — Value in coordinated team battles and defense setups
- Adventure Map — Efficiency at clearing PvE content
- Dungeons — Performance in time-limited dungeon events
Tiers are defined as:
| Tier | Rating | Description |
|---|---|---|
| S | Meta-Defining | Dominates their role; no real substitute. Must-have if obtainable. |
| A | Excellent | Top-tier performer; consistently strong in their niche. |
| B | Good | Solid choice; effective but outclassed by higher tiers. |
| C | Niche | Usable in specific situations; not a generalist pick. |
| D | Outclassed | Power-crept by newer monsters; invest only if you have nothing better. |

Upcoming Meta Shifts to Watch
Based on recent developer announcements and the Spring 2026 update roadmap:
- New Magic element Mythic expected in the June 2026 breeding event — likely to shake up the Dark/Magic meta
- Thunder temple rework may buff Thunder-type monsters significantly
- Ice element buff reportedly in testing — Cryocrawler could move to S-Tier if Ice gets the rumored freeze rate increase
