Pro Tips for Pal Hunting
Sphere economy: Use basic Spheres for common Pals (level 1-20), Mega Spheres for levels 20-35, Giga Spheres for 35-45, and Hyper Spheres / Legendary Spheres for 45-50+. See the Resources & Materials Guide for sphere crafting requirements.
Capture power upgrades: Upgrade your capture power at the Statue of Power using Lifmunk Effigies. Maxed capture power makes high-level catches significantly easier.
Back shots matter: Hitting a Pal from behind with a Pal Sphere increases capture chance by approximately 10%.
Status effects help: Poison, burn, and sleep all increase capture rate modifier when combined with low HP.
Use the right sphere type: A Mega Sphere on a level 30 Pal is waste. Always match sphere tier to Pal level.
Catch 10 of everything: The Statue of Power gives permanent stat bonuses for catching 10 of each Pal species.
Rare Pals have set spawns: Legendary Pals (Frostallion, Jetragon, Paladius, Necromus) always spawn in the same location after being defeated or captured.
Paldeck completion bonus: Completing entries rewards bonus XP and permanent stat increases. Prioritize catching new species.
