Every PS99 event follows the same script. BIG Games teases it on Twitter 3-5 days before launch. The official Discord announces it 1-2 days before. The event drops on a Friday around noon Eastern time. Rates are boosted for the first 48 hours to generate hype — this is your window. The Trading Plaza floods with the new event pets at inflated prices. The event runs for 2-3 weeks. Then it ends. Supply dries up. Prices recover. Players who bought during the event and held for a month make 30-50% profit.

Events happen four times a year, plus minor update events every 4-6 weeks. The Spring event runs March-April with pastel-themed pets and egg mechanics. The Summer event runs June-July and is typically the biggest update of the year — save 1 million Gems minimum for this one. The Halloween event runs through October and usually includes a new Titanic pet, making it the most expensive event to fully participate in. The Christmas/Winter event runs December and often features exclusive Huge and Titanic pets that become the most valuable limited pets in the game.

Weekend mini-events happen roughly monthly — double Gems, boosted rates, short-duration bonuses. These aren’t announced far in advance. They typically appear on Friday and run through Sunday. The only way to catch them is to check the game daily or join the Discord with notifications on.

Here’s how much to save based on your play schedule. A daily player at 30 minutes per day earns roughly 15,000-25,000 Gems daily from Void World grinding — 150,000 per week. An active player at 2 hours daily earns 50,000-80,000 — 500,000 per week. A hardcore player earns 100,000-150,000 daily — 1 million per week. When an event is announced 3-5 days before launch, calculate your stockpile based on your daily rate. If you’re 300,000 short of your target, grind extra hours in the days before the event. The pre-event grind is always worth it because Day 1 boosted rates give you the best odds for the entire event.

The post-event profit play is the most consistent way to build wealth in PS99. During the final 3 days of any event, players panic-sell event pets because they’re worried about prices dropping after the event ends. Prices are at their lowest. Buy during this window. Hold for 2-4 weeks after the event ends. By then, supply has dried up — nobody is hatching event eggs anymore. New players who missed the event want those pets. Demand rises. Supply is gone. Prices recover 30-50% from their panic-sell lows. List your held pets. Collect the profit. This strategy requires zero RNG, zero luck, and works for every single event.
