Mastery System Overview
The Mastery system in Pet Simulator 99 tracks your progress across 15 different skill categories. Each mastery can be leveled from 1 to 99, and reaching the maximum in any category rewards you with a unique, untradable Mastery Cape. Mastering every category unlocks the ultimate prize: the Master Skill Cape.
Mastery XP is earned passively by playing the game. Every breakable you destroy, egg you hatch, enchant you use, and diamond you earn contributes XP to the relevant mastery category.

All mastery capes are untradable and displayed in your inventory as collectible proof of achievement.
Master Skill Cape — The Ultimate Reward
Reaching level 99 in all 15 masteries awards the Master Skill Cape.

The +10% diamond bonus applies to all diamond sources — breakables, chests, Daycare, trading, and event rewards. For an endgame player earning 500K+ diamonds per day, this cape alone generates an extra 50K+ daily.
Fastest Mastery Leveling Methods
Breakables Mastery
- Best method: Farm the highest area you can clear in 1-2 hits
- Enchants: Exotic Pet + Strong Pets (Superior) + Critical (Superior)
- XP rate: ~500-1,000 mastery XP per hour in optimal area
- Tip: Area 199+ breakables give the most XP per break
Eggs Mastery
- Best method: Enable Auto Hatch on the cheapest egg available and AFK
- Enchants: Speed + Magnet (everything else irrelevant)
- Coin cost: Budget ~1M coins per hour of auto-hatching
- Tip: The cheapest egg in Spawn gives the most hatches per coin
Economy Mastery
- Best method: Run a full diamond farming loadout in a high-yield area
- Enchants: Fortune + Diamonds (Superior) + Midas Touch + Treasure Hunter
- Tip: Daycare diamond conversion counts toward Economy XP
Enchants Mastery
- Best method: Equip enchants and let them proc during farming
- Passive: No active grinding required — just play with enchants equipped
Potions Mastery
- Best method: Craft and use the cheapest potions in bulk
- Tip: Tier 1 potions give the same mastery XP per use as Tier 5
Fishing Mastery
- Best method: Fish at the highest available fishing spot
- Tip: Fishing minigame success rate affects XP gain — time your casts carefully
Keys Mastery
- Best method: Farm Crystal Keys from breakables and open Crystal Chests
- Tip: The Spinny Wheel is a secondary source of keys
Fuse Mastery
- Best method: Fuse low-tier pets in bulk
- Tip: The cheapest pets from Spawn eggs are ideal fusion material
Rank Quests System
Rank quests are displayed on the right side of your screen and are your primary way to increase Rank. Higher ranks unlock more pet equip slots and enchant slots.

Each rank requires more Stars than the previous. Reaching max rank (currently 32) requires completing thousands of quests.
Daily Gameplay Loop
For maximum daily progression, follow this optimized routine:
1. Claim Daily Rewards (1 minute)
Log in and claim the daily login reward from the main menu. Streak bonuses increase the value of consecutive daily claims.
2. Daycare Collection (2 minutes)
Collect diamonds and items from the Daycare. Restock with pets if needed. The Daycare runs on a timer, so checking every 8-12 hours is optimal.
3. Rank Quests (15-20 minutes)
Complete the current set of rank quests. Prioritize the fastest ones first. If a quest requires Comets and none are active, move to the next quest and circle back.
4. Diamond Farming Session (30-60 minutes)
Equip your diamond farming loadout and farm the highest viable area. Use Diamonds Potions and Fruit boosts. This is your primary income source.
5. Check Minigames & Events (10 minutes)
Run available minigames for enchant books and keys. Check for active limited-time events.
6. Hatch & Fuse (10 minutes)
Dump excess coins into Auto Hatch. Fuse duplicate pets for mastery XP and a chance at upgraded variants.
Total daily time: 60-90 minutes for a complete loop. Adjust session lengths based on your available play time.
