Overview of Hidden Content in Pressure#
Pressure is a deep-sea horror survival game set in the underwater facility P.I.A. (Pressure Induced Apparatus). While the main gameplay follows a linear floor-by-floor progression through increasingly dangerous areas, the game contains dozens of hidden rooms, secret entity encounters, and Easter eggs that most players never discover on their first run.
These hidden areas often contain rare items, lore fragments, or unique entity encounters that can significantly impact your survival chances. Some are intentionally placed by developers; others are community-discovered glitches that have become part of the game’s culture.
Secret Room Locations#
Floor 1 – The Shallows (Hidden Areas)#
The Shallows is the first area and contains several well-hidden spots:
| Secret Location | How to Access | What’s Inside | Notes |
|---|
| Ventilation Shaft | Crouch near the right wall of the starting room, look for a slightly darker panel. Interact to open it. | Small crawlspace with a flashlight pickup and an audio log | First audio log reveals facility backstory |
| Underwater Cave | Swim past the first checkpoint and look for a crack in the rock wall. Squeeze through during a water current event. | Hidden chest containing a spare battery and a collectible note | Water current only occurs during specific entity triggers |
| Supply Closet | Behind the breakable door in the second corridor. Must use a melee weapon or explosion to breach. | Extra medkit, battery, and sometimes a glow stick | Door respawns on each new run |
| Maintenance Hatch | Above the first airlock. Jump on the pipe to reach it. | Shortcut to the next section, avoiding one entity encounter | Can be used to skip Glimpse encounters |

| Creature Pen | In the biology section, behind a broken containment wall. Enter during an entity alarm event. | Specimen notes, hidden entity encounter, collectible | Entity here is a passive variant of a main floor entity |
| Control Tower | Climb the external maintenance ladder during a low-pressure event. | Facility overview screen, hidden achievement, collectible | Achievement: “Eye in the Deep” for reaching the top |
| Memorial Room | Hidden behind the memorial plaque in the central hub. Interact with the plaque 3 times. | Memorial wall with names of facility crew, emotional audio log | Audio log is one of the most detailed lore pieces in the game |
Easter Eggs#
Pressure contains numerous Easter eggs that reference other games, internet culture, and the developers’ own history.
Major Easter Eggs#
| Easter Egg | Location | How to Trigger | Reward / Result |
|---|
| “Find the Way” Reference | Floor 2, near the server room | Look at the wall with the painting. The painting changes to a different image if you stand near it for 10 seconds. | References another Roblox horror game. No gameplay reward, but an achievement unlocks. |
| Developer Message | Floor 3, Captain’s Quarters | Read the captain’s log entry twice. The text changes to a developer thank-you message. | Achievement: “Behind the Scenes” |
| Hidden Mini-Game | Floor 1, underwater cave | Swim to the back of the cave and interact with the glowing object three times. | A simple arcade-style mini-game appears. High scores are tracked. |
| “It’s Just a Prank” | Any floor, during a chase sequence | Crouch and stand perfectly still for 15 seconds during an active chase. | Entity pauses, plays a unique sound, then resumes. Achievement: “Statue Mode” |
| Secret Radio Station | Floor 4, Emergency Bunker | Tune the radio to a specific frequency by clicking the dial 7 times. | Plays an obscure track. Achievement: “Frequency Hunter” |
Minor Easter Eggs#
| Easter Egg | Location | Trigger | Result |
|---|
| Floating Fish | Floor 1, starting area | Look up at the ceiling of the first room during darkness | A single fish swims across the ceiling. Purely cosmetic. |
| Whispering Voices | Floor 2, flooded chamber | Stand in the flooded area during total darkness | Faint whispers can be heard. Lore-related, no gameplay effect. |
| Hidden Graffiti | Floor 3, pipe maze | Look behind the third junction in the maze | Graffiti reads “We Were Here.” References the facility crew’s last days. |
| Glowing Corridor | Floor 4, deep storage | Turn off all light sources and wait 5 seconds | Corridor walls glow faintly with bioluminescence. Temporary effect. |
Hidden Entity Encounters#
Beyond the standard entities documented in our Pressure Entities Guide, there are several rare or hidden entity encounters:
Passive Entities#
| Entity | Location | Behavior | Notes |
|---|
| “The Observer” | Floor 2, flooded chamber | Floats in the water, does not attack if you remain still | Only appears on the first visit to the flooded chamber. Watching it for too long triggers an aggro state. |
| “Drifters” | Floor 3, creature pen | Small fish-like entities that swim around the broken containment area | Harmless. Interacting with them plays a soft sound. Some players report they follow you to the next room. |
| “Ghost Light” | Floor 4, memorial room | A floating light orb that moves slowly through the room | Disappears when approached. May reappear in later floors as a warning indicator. |
Rare Aggressive Entities#
| Entity | Location | Behavior | Notes |
|---|
| “Shadow Glimpse” | Any floor, during a blackout | Variant of Glimpse that appears only during total darkness | Faster than standard Glimpse but has a shorter detection range. Avoid by using light sources. |
| “The Mimic” | Floor 3, research lab | Copies the appearance of a friendly NPC for 5 seconds before revealing itself | Unique audio cue: distorted voice. Must run immediately upon detection. |
| “Deep Dweller” | Floor 4, creature pen | Massive entity visible through the broken containment glass | Does not leave its pen but creates a pressure wave that drains oxygen when it moves. |
Glitches and Quirks#
| Glitch | Description | Floor | Impact |
|---|
| Wall Clip | Sprinting into a specific corner at the right angle allows you to pass through the wall. | Floor 2 | Skips a section of the map. Can be used for speedruns. |
| Oxygen Glitch | Standing near a specific air vent during a pressure event prevents oxygen depletion for 10 seconds. | Floor 3 | Useful for exploration but may patch in future updates. |
| Entity Despawn | Dying and respawning in certain locations causes nearby entities to despawn. | Any floor | Can be used to avoid difficult encounters, but reduces overall experience. |
| Flashlight Flicker | Rapidly toggling the flashlight during a chase causes entities to lose track temporarily. | Any floor | Timing is critical. Must toggle 3 times per second. Lasts approximately 2 seconds. |
| Door Skip | Interacting with a door during the loading transition skips the animation. | Any floor | Saves 1-2 seconds per door. Used in speedrunning. |
| Secret | Discovery Method | Notes |
|---|
| Secret Ending | Collect all audio logs across all four floors, then complete the final floor without dying. | Unlocks an alternative ending cutscene showing the facility’s fate. |
| Hidden Boss | Interact with every memorial plaque in the game, then return to the starting area. | Triggers a hidden boss encounter that rewards a unique item. |
| “The Deep One” | Survive Floor 4 without using any light sources. | Entity does not appear if you stay in darkness, but you get a unique ending message. |
Tips for Finding Hidden Areas#
- Pay attention to wall textures: Hidden doors and passages often have slightly different textures than surrounding walls. Look for discoloration, cracks, or panels that don’t quite match.
- Listen for audio cues: Many hidden areas have faint ambient sounds – dripping water, humming machinery, or whispers. Use headphones for the best chance of detecting these.
- Explore during calm periods: Entities are less likely to interrupt your exploration during non-chase periods. The best time to search for secrets is immediately after an entity encounter when there’s a brief safe window.
- Check above and below: Many hidden areas are accessed by looking up (ceilings with loose grates) or down (cracked floor panels). Don’t just look at eye level.
- Take notes: The codes and clues for hidden areas are scattered across multiple floors. Audio logs, computer terminals, and environmental clues all contribute to solving the puzzles.
- Use community resources: The Pressure community on Discord and Reddit regularly shares new discoveries. Some secrets require multiple players to trigger.
