Ships & Sailing Basics

Ships are your primary method of traveling between islands and accessing ocean content in Sailor Piece. While the ship system is relatively straightforward compared to the game’s combat and race mechanics, understanding navigation is essential for progression.

Getting Your First Ship

  1. Go to any major island and find the Ship Sailor NPC near the harbor/pier
  2. Purchase a ship using in-game currency (Yen)
  3. Open your Ship Inventory tab in the shop menu to spawn your purchased ship
  4. Ships despawn after ~10 minutes of inactivity — re-spawn from the NPC if needed

Ship Upgrades

Ship upgrades are purchased with Yen. Redeeming active codes is the fastest way to get Yen for ship upgrades without grinding. Codes like SORRYFORBUGS, UPDATE2, DUNGEONS, and 2MVISITS have historically provided free currency rewards.

The ship’s primary purpose is transportation and enabling Sea Beast spawns. Combat statistics are not ship-dependent — your character build (race, melee, sword, fruit) handles all combat.

Spawn Rate by Bounty

Combined Group BountyApproximate Spawn Interval
~10 MillionEvery 20-40 minutes
~20 MillionEvery 5-15 minutes
50 Million (cap)Near back-to-back

Farm in groups of 3-12 players to stack bounty. Solo farming is extremely slow. The 50M bounty cap provides the fastest possible spawn rate.

Bloodline Stone100%Guaranteed each kill
Clan Reroll100%Guaranteed each kill
Kraken Armor~3.5%Rare defensive item

Drop Optimization Strategy

Use a Luck build while fighting (Luckborn/Kitsune race, Luck-focused accessories). Switch to your highest DPS melee or sword spec to burn HP, then switch back to Luck gear for the killing blow to maximize rare drop chances. In a group, the player with the highest Luck should land the last hit.

Complete Sea Beast Farming Strategy

  1. Form a group of 3-12 players with high combined bounty
  2. Sail to Open Sea (200-600 studs from any island)
  3. Wait for spawn — highest-bounty player should lead the group
  4. Fight with Luck gear initially, switch to DPS for HP burn
  5. Switch back to Luck for the killing blow
  6. Server hop if spawns slow down — some servers have better RNG than others

Archangel Race Unlock (Sea 2)

The Archangel race is an evolved Angel race unlocked in Sea 2:

  1. Collect 7 Halos — 4 Hidden Halos (specific locations) + 3 Boss Halos (drops from bosses)
  2. Visit the Celestial Guide on Blue Planet
  3. Trade the 7 Halos for Archangel race unlock

Pro Tips
