Your first five Pressure runs will end the same way, so let me save you the 45 minutes. Run one dies at floor 2: the lights flicker, a sound you have never heard cuts through the room hum, and you spin in place trying to find whatever made it. You die without ever seeing it. Run three dies at floor 4: the room goes dark, someone whispers “psst,” and you stand perfectly still, because standing still is what every other game taught you to do. Three seconds later the screen goes black. Run five is the worst — it ends at floor 8 with a clean high-pitched screech, a closet three steps away, and you frozen in the doorway because you were too busy staring at loot to notice where the closet was. The game never tells you that Rush announces itself 3.5 seconds before it arrives, and 3.5 seconds is a lifetime of time if you already know where to go.
